In Varkiza Square, in “GYALINO BUILDING”, on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 April, women from Ukraine, Belarus and Greece are preparing a celebration of peace and solidarity with the Ukrainian people. They collaborate, sing, cook, play games for children and adults, and show in the war that he is no stronger than the thirst of people for life!
They invite you to be with them, to choose Easter gifts among handmade creations and folk art items, and to see through photo and video exhibitions how its expatriates living today in Greece see Ukraine. The event includes several art and ecology workshops and an open discussion on developments on the war front that continues to create thousands of new refugees every day on the continent.
The event is co-organized by “Women from Ukraine”, the association “VORISTHENIS”, the Belarusian radio “NASHE RADIO” and the environmental organization WAMBO CITY WASTE PICKERS and Municipality of Vari Voula Vouliagmeni.
